Achotenu-Nachshonim empowers Ethiopian-Israelis to receive a bachelor’s degree in nursing or occupational therapy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The program enables young adults to fulfill their aspirations in healthcare professions while overcoming economic and academic barriers.
How it Works
Admission: Alternative screening without the psychometric exam, based on high school grades and personal interviews
Preparatory Program: Intensive one-year preparation program in advance of academic studies
Studies: 3.5-4 years of academic studies alongside comprehensive support including scholarships, housing, tutorials and personal mentoring
