Accessibility Statement

The Laofek Association works to promote disadvantaged populations through employment. In this statement, we seek to ensure accessibility and equal rights for people with disabilities. The association invests resources to improve the user experience and services for all users, while maintaining accessibility principles for diverse audiences.

The accessibility of the website has been adapted according to Regulation 35 of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Accommodations) 2013, to level AA, in accordance with changes and adjustments made in the Israeli Standard document. Accessibility has been tested on the browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Mozilla and Edge.

Accessibility features available on the site:

  • Support for all standard accepted browsers (such as Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Edge).
  • Site content is written in clear language and readable fonts are used.
  • Site structure includes headings, paragraphs and lists.
  • Site navigation is easy and convenient with clear and available menus.
  • Links on the site are clear and explain their destination.
  • Links at the beginning of the page allowing skipping to content.
  • Textual descriptions for images and icons for assistive technologies.
  • The site is adapted to working environments in different resolutions (responsive).
  • Buttons to play/stop video galleries.
  • Implementation of ARIA rules to improve site accessibility.
  • Accessibility of menus, forms and fields, heading hierarchy, tab components, pop-up windows and more.

Changing display on the site:

  • You can enlarge or reduce the display by pressing the “CTRL” button together with the mouse wheel or by using the “+” and “-” signs to change the size.
  • Font size can be changed through the accessibility menu on the site.
  • Users without a mouse can use the “TAB” key to move the cursor between options on the site. Pressing “Enter” will activate the link.

Adapting the site for the visually and hearing impaired:

  • Basic magnifiers (resolution).
  • Voice recognition software.
  • Voice recognition packages of operating systems.

Accessibility disclaimers: The association takes full seriousness to ensure accessibility on the site. However, some pages may not yet be accessible, or an appropriate technological solution has not yet been found for them. Additionally, advertisements displayed on the site by external advertisers may not meet the full accessibility requirements.
